I had a brake like that 20 years ago! Looks very nice.

Give it a few more years and we’ll be back to coaster brakes….

My 89 cindercone had a brake there. It was great at collecting all the crap 😀

Though nothing new a lot of TT bikes have the rear brake there.

Reckon it’s a stealth way of getting folks used to the inevitable look of a tour bike with disc brakes!

They had those in the car park by my flat yesterday. Mind you, the Radioshack service course was in there so it’s not like someone nicked one. Also got to say hello to Johnny Hoogerlands and he’s got a fine set of scars from last years TdF.

Now, if I could get a Colnago disc brake version in Europcar team colours I’d be happy:

Personally I like the look of the Ridley Noah (?) with the integrated braking-not sure how effective it is, but looks the dogs!

what a stupid place to put a brake on a road bike “lower centre of gravity” FFS have they nothing better to do?

Oh well I guess lbs will be kept busy unseizing them when idiots use them on their winter bikes.
