    That shock is in a nice mud friendly place. I wonder why they released this ‘spy’ shot. They did the same for the last nomad and solo.

    I can’t see Santa Cruz putting the shock there. Too many UK customers.

    It looks quite polished to be a prototype to me – carbon and painted? No doubt it’s a Santa Cruz with that rear triangle though. Also has the single sided chain-stay.
    Very interesting, surprising if they do totally change the suspension like that – pretty much all the current range they have is based from the Nomad.
    Looks like a new Fox shock too?

    It could have far better rear suspension driving the shock from the lower link like that (as on the V10), as that turns it from being stuck as a regressive/linear/progressive to allowing a progressive/linear or fully progressive design. But the mud, the mud!!!
