I asked a similar question a while back. There are very few at the cheaper end of the market.

These seem to hide the bulbousness best, pricey though!

    Scott Stego

    Cratoni Alltrack

Everything looked huge on my head, except for a Specialized Tactic II. Great fit and good price.

Urge helmets all seem to look fairly low profile on peoples heads.
    I like my Endur-o-matic 2.

I like my Giro Montaro, great fit. However the sweat pads are terrible quality, they do a fine job when new but they fray and fail after very little use. I’m about to hassle the distributor for my 2nd replacement set.
