The Wiggan Tree. Is that the pub on the road to Parbold with the great views over the skem plains?

Yes it is, its still good food but a bit ‘full of families’ on a weekend now mid week evenings in the summer are fab great views, good wine selection now sure about the ales

I shall be riding to Irlam via said ‘ills a few times a week once we move.

There might be the odd occasion I stop off to test how the Wiggin Tree’s gone downhill, etc…. before trying to set off the speed camera on my way down to Parbold.

Theres some good riding between Bury and Ramsbottom
and up around Nangreaves too

you’d possibly need someone to show you round

I think Harry the spider and terrahawk are from that area

It seems to work intermittantly. I can set it off reliably most of the time but as soon as I fit a camera to me it stays steadfastly off.
