I think they thought it would descend into the usual nonsense everytime a female shows up on here. Don't worry about this lot thought they're all big softies really.

It is not worth coming up to from London
Oh.
I had mushy peas last night actually. With fish and chips. Absolutely delicious.

I have never EVER put Greater Manchester on my address at any of the places I hate it as do most of the people from Wigan Bolton & Bury.
The county is Lancashire....

I know its says some of them are now GM but we didn't go with it.... rebels

Where abouts?
Other side of the M6. Parbold way. It's as close as any person would want to get to the great metropolis of pies.

Last timte I was in Lancs it took me a while to work out what batter pudding was on the menu...
as in Roast Beef, Batter Pudding, Roast potatoes
I'm sure I've been asked by a girl in a bar to give her some batter pudding before now. Perhaps she didn't mean what I thought she did...
I still don't get the chips/gravy thing.
Where do you put your ketchup?
Or indeed the mayo...

Blimey I spent some time in the Wiggan Tree before it became a 'counting chips chain pub' lovely area

The Wiggan Tree. Is that the pub on the road to Parbold with the great views over the skem plains?
Posted 1 year ago # -
Yes it is, its still good food but a bit 'full of families' on a weekend now mid week evenings in the summer are fab great views, good wine selection now sure about the ales

I shall be riding to Irlam via said 'ills a few times a week once we move.
There might be the odd occasion I stop off to test how the Wiggin Tree's gone downhill, etc.... before trying to set off the speed camera on my way down to Parbold.

Theres some good riding between Bury and Ramsbottom
and up around Nangreaves tooyou'd possibly need someone to show you round
I think Harry the spider and terrahawk are from that area

Hello Debbie

before trying to set off the speed camera on my way down to Parbold.
It seems to work intermittantly. I can set it off reliably most of the time but as soon as I fit a camera to me it stays steadfastly off.

Derren, Hindley Green, Parbold, Ramsbottom, Nangreaves; please tell me these mystical places exist outside of the fevered imaginations of Northerners.
Help me Believe.
Mayo on sausage butties....?
Sweet Jesus!!! You can't even put that down to being northern and quirky and charming and stuff. Thats just plain wrong!!!!
This is true. It is Wrong.

I'll see your Gayclops and raise you:
Changed it to avoid taking the thread down a different route and possible closure.

Elfinsafety - just scroll a little to the east of where you have linked and note the name attached to the M25...
That's enough to get the thread taken down in itself...
