My Endura Single track gloves have fallen apart after 12mnths, which is not so bad. What are you guys using? Looking at medium and about £20 (cheapskate) 😀

I like my Giro DND gloves, much harder wearing and more comfortable than the Fox gloves I used before.

Specialized Lodown – the palm leather wraps over the end of the fingertips… means mine last twice as long as anything else!

Recently tried Fox Sidewinder and the bit between the little finger and fourth finger dug in and made the bottom of my hand numb. I usually like Fox stuff but the gloves were horrible.

661 Raji were like wearing paper, got fed up trying stuff randomly so called in local bike shop last week got some Endura Humvee Plus and some Endura XTract Mitts for the road bike. Got to try both on and paid £35.

Buying the same gloves on CRC would have been £38 or so. Only a couple of quid but LBS came out on top.

my experience of 661 gloves is that a pair of latex gloves would have been more hardwearing….

Dakine Sentinels have been good for me recently. Really like the protection and the palm is nice and grippy.

Edit. Sorry, didn’t read budget bit.

Gloves are something that for my you want to try on in any bike shop you go into and buy the ones you like, tend to pick up 2-3 sets a year as it’s nice to have fresh ones for back to back rides and sometimes nice to have a spare set in the bag for grim days.

    Local lot

Aside from that the usual TLD offerings like th GP are hard to beak, have some Dakine ones kicking around too.
Tried some spec BG’s again recently and just too much padding
