Lovely Dog SB (and all the others that have followed).

Jenson approves! Although this was his recent verdict on my STW addiction…

Then shortly after, when I’d taken the hint…

And one looking handsome for good measure…

Rex looks awesome 😀 Here’s an old pic of our Freddie

He was really ill last weekend (shitting/vomming blood) and we thought he was on deaths door as he wasn’t responding to anything much and when he did it was with a big painful groan. Come Tuesday he was back to his usual self and seems perkier than ever this week. Vets diagnosis is that he has both some thyroid troubles and an enlarged heart. Not sure how much longer he’s gonna last but is on some tablets and seems alright for now 🙂

Still loving muddy puddles, I reckon he could find one in the desert. 🙄

Here’s Elmo and his sister, woody. Elmo is ours, woody is my brothers. Elmo is the handsome one, woody has her tongue sticking out. Both are very nice dogs but Elmo is the bestest dog in the world.

I was planning on joining at some point soon but I couldn’t resist a dogs thread!

This is yet another Springer, his name is Jackson (or Jackass…) who I got as a rescue 5 years ago now. At 9 years he’s slowed down lately but he’s still a typical ESS a lot of the time, he never fails to make me smile.

    Arriving on Fathers Day

Another ESS! Was going to get a re-home adult dog then went and saw this one. Parent dogs are fantastic temperament…here goes!

    Spaniel-tastic! I love a good dog thread…

Here are my two. Ted (one on the left) is a four year old English Springer. Ralph (the other one) is a two year old Cocker. Both are workers, which explains the lack of curly hair.

Here’s Ted waiting to get out and go scare some pigeons…

Here’s my boy, Rogue taken a month ago at gisburn. Slowly turning into a great trail dog.

And with the oh at his first dog show(1st in his class and 3rd in the overall hound group). A great start to his show career. Next show is a cruffs qualifier 😯

Don’t see many Spinone’s about, nice dogs but very drooly.

Here’s my Spinone Cross (you will never guess the cross though)

and my favourite picture, after one week of having to wear a cone of shame.

No, Chesapeake Bay, which admittedly like a Lab but more like the bastard stubborn Lab from hell (never seen or heard of a dog protesting peeing, out of frustration for not getting his way)

Bumped into a bloke who used them for gamekeeping/shooting and said, the are great dogs, but a constant battle to get them to tow the line.

Great dog, and very entertaining, but extremely hard work.
