Deore 11-34T, £16.99 from Woollyhatshop on ebay.

Can't see why you would want to pay more, I find the cheaper Deore/Tiagra cassettes and PC951 chain (from WHS or Highonbikes) work perfectly and last a long time.

SLX should be fine with an alloy freehub – Merlin are knocking these out at £30 + £17 for an SLX level chain.

I thought Xt and above only on the hope freehub

Got a SRAM 991 chain and 970 cassette for wifes bike recently for a bargain from CRC.

I'm told SLX and above are fine, the lowest three cogs share a carrier to avoid killing the freehub.

I've used SLX cassettes for months with my Bulbs without any problems whatsoever.

Bulbs are either steel or titanium freehub bodies so don't suffer like the alloy pro IIs.

Not sure on the slx pro II compatibility but woolyhat shop always seem hard to beat for chains/cassettes when I'm looking to purchase

I belive Hope state on the Pro2 boxes that xt and above is required
