  • New bike time very soon – anyone got a Canyon hardtail – sizing issue

    So its time for a new bike and I’m 95% settled on a Grand Canyon CF SL 7.9 but the good old sizing issue has reared its ugly head. I’m 178cm with shorter than normal legs and a longer than normal torso and reach. Looking at the geo on the website I reckon that the large size might actually be a little better than the medium as the TT is relatively short.

    Anyone got a grand canyon that can give me some advise on how they measure up in the real world, so to speak? I’ve tried the Canyon online measuring tool and confusingly it has come out recommending me a small size. Any help would be great folks, thank you.
