Now i know hoses and steerer too long (waiting for new bar and stem before any chopping), but i really like this one. Had to pass on matching white brakes for financial reasons, (maybe a good thing)but had the Elixirs spare, and it rides really nice.

    Lovely colour too.

Absolutely, although you need to take this in the context of my previous efforts.

No its my N96 camera doing its strange trick it seems to enlarge whichever bit is closest, no matter where you stand.
Does exactly what i want it too, so im happy, and have about 300mm adjustment on the post so can slam it or have it at pedalling height.

I really rather like that. Looks great imo. I like the way the white walls take the edge off the white trim on the wheels and tone them down.

    Thumbs up from me

i am afraid to say that despite the fact it’s all new and shiny, and i know the bits on it aren’t cheap, it looks dreadful and like it came from argos. just changing the tyres and the saddle would go a long way to remedying that.

    just my opinion. 🙂

I’m disgusted with the leafage etc in the garden. Shocked really. Plus next doors shed is trying to break into your garden.

And you’re entitled to it, but rest assured, the tyres are staying 😀
The saddle i got for free so its been chucked on here. May be change the grips and saddle for black, but everything on it is second hand (frame included), so didnt even cost a lot. Wouldn’t it be boring if we all rode plain black bikes….

Talking of Swifts, there was a lad on one (rigid forks) going down Gaburn pass the right way (bloody willy-waiver!)

thanks ssstu, that chammy was mine also 😉
Geax’s were from CRC, not sure you can get the whitewall versions anymore.

Sir, I do feel the need to correct you – it is actually extremely gopping

I’ve just shown this thread to the missis many for the Simon Weston comment.
She asked how old is your little girl:-)

It’s very individual. I do admire the fact you’ve built what you wanted and not conformed to the norm but it’s not something I’d build up personally.

Too many bikes on here look very samey IMO. This one doesn’t.

Go on then hora, which is the right way to ride garburn?

(Personally I’d say up from troutbeck so the climb is rideable and then down the steep side into kentmere but now I’m wondering if everyone else does it the other way and I’m in the wrong!)
