Took the plunge ordered new sram gx rear mech and shifter with new shimano XT m8000 42-11 cassette. Decided against sram cassette due to crazy price of xd driver for ma wheels. Well hope it goes well as most people who mix usually go the other way with shimano mech and sram cassette. Anyway total setup is 198 with new blackspire chainring. Will post more once arrived and fitted.
