I need a maxle shaft. I know it's a 20mm, but while looking on CRC they list 20 mm maxle with options of 32mm, 35mm&40mm chassis. Can someone tell me what they might call the chassis? Is it the stanchions? They measure at 32mm while the outers measure at 40mm! The forks are U turn Pikes not sure how old they are.
If anyone could shed some light on this so I can get one ordered. Thanks.

It is the stanchions. Pikes have 32mm stanchions so that's the option you need.
Did you break one ?

Thanks Johnny Panic, no haven't broken one, I brought the forks from here, but the maxle shaft had no springs so when clamping the lever closed it didn't function in the right way, but the function of the shaft is fine in regards of fixing the wheel in, just me wanting it right really!

Maybe LBS can order in the springs?
