Just fitted tyres to a new wheelset - but the wheels have three logos, while the tyres have two - so lining them up is impossible.
Obviously, I've contacted Mavic and asked them to take the wheels off the market until they have some sort of resolution to the issue, but in the meantime - what would you do?
get a hairdryer and peel of the labels from the wheels for a "stealth" look?
EDIT: I have the same problem with American Classic wheels (3 logos) and Nobby Nics (2 logos)
I'm not sure if it matters how many stickers there are on the rims, shirly you just need to align the tyre logo with the valve?
The hairdryer just might work.....
The red collar on my KS post is freaking me out too. I really want a black one.
+1 dan1980. Cant believe there is an alternative.
And all my logos are thoughtfully lined up (headset, stem top cap, spacer etc). OCD? Very possibly, or just part of doing a job properly.
Which is probably why I cant bear to look at my first attempt at bar tape wrapping on a road bike! ๐
