Maplin usually have the Binatone one. In addition to the usual number buttons you can program 3 “Favourites” too. £40 or so?

My father in law has a DORO phone, very good, even has a hearing loop thingy in that works with his hearing aid. You can pick up a PAYG one in tescos.

Doro make some good ones, usually hearing aid compatable too. Cobolt systems do one with big buttons and a programmable emergency button for £50- https://secure.vvhosting.co.uk/cobolt/store/eric_viewItem.asp?idProduct=353

An old nokia would suffice I think.

This was my first mobile phone…you could probably still get one from somewhere.

    Plus one for the Maplin.
Bought one for exactly that purpose and it’s ideal.
Mega loud, huge buttons, simple to use.

no it won’t – screen to small and not enough contrast on the screen or the buttons either. As other have mentioned Binatone are good

My mum has one spare which she’s just using up the credit on before she flogs it / gives it away
