SFB, in terms of hardness' how does this loop compare to say the Edale/Hope circuit?
about 50% harder due to Gatescarth and Nan Bield pushes IMO...

Route - Staveley, Green Quarter Fell, Sadgill, Gatescarth, Nan Bield, Kentmere, Kentmere Hall, Ulthwaite Bridge - lowey recknons that to be 19 miles. Ending might change if we have any legs left - but I think I left mine in Dalby today

Did the route on the map (above somewhere), but from Kendal, via Longsleddlesdale(sp) a few years ago, with 500ml, bottle and 1 banana, by meself, boy was I fooked! then back to Kendal, quote my brother, "you've been where?!"
