It was about 1.5-2 inches wide. Just out of interest what do you think it may be? It was in Glen Clova last week!

Dog or possibly fox?
Squirrel
edit, no, second thoughts nickyB 's right, its a haggis (Gastrovis caledoniensis)
haggis
Pygmy polar bear.
Dog or a big fox.
Defo not a dog, no human prints anywhere and just not like a dog print...
Liking the pygmy polar bear option though!
A baby one of these :
Minky mink.
If it was a haggis then there would be a second smaller print from its uphill leg, which could be right or left depending on whether it was a clockwise male or an anti-clockwise female.
Velociraptor
Fox. You can draw a line behind the front pads without it intersecting with the middle pads. This is how to tell the difference between dog and fox prints.
There are 2 prints there though, so it's a bit confused.
Ant-eater.
highland ardvark
Hawk/eagle
baby robin.
