New(ish) song doing the rounds, quite ‘pained’ vocals from the male and he sounds like Sting. Video is a very minimalist – just stood agains a wall (reminds me a bit of Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’.

Then there is a female who chips in on vocals halfway through.

It is a bit of a ‘love’ song where he is pouring his heart out after she dumped him I think.

Don’t do it. This is the most irritating song this year. Sure, it sounds good the first – or even second – time you hear it, but soon it will get so under your skin that you’ll be clawing at your flesh with rage. I blame the ridiculous inclusion of the riff from Baa Baa Black Sheep.

I quite like the Gotye album. Not sure I’d had paid for it (spotify before anyone gets the wrong idea) but there is some good variety to the tracks.

Yeah been playing it on Spotify all afternoon – quite like it.
