Saw some rabbits with what looked like Myxomatosis above Hayfield today (One alive 2 dead). Is there anyone that I should notify about this?

Shouldn't think so, it only affects rabbits and they are a pest afaik. It tends to come and go, used to see loads round here (Shropshire), rabbits staggering about in the front garden that I'd have to finish off with the shovel etc, haven't seen one for a couple of years now.

Nope, its endemic within the rabbit population, nothing that can be done other than put them out of their misery

Nowt anyone can do about it. many people will be pleased to get rid of the little buggers. Round here it comes and goes.Some rabbits seems quite happy with it and carry on regardless. Many are developing an immnune system that copes anyway.

I got properly flamed by the kids for killing a poor fecker about a yr ago, they just didn't understand the little dude was screwed anyway. However the 225,18,45 put him out of his misery!

I end up having to dispatch loads of little buggers then there is an outbreak here. Bloody dogs fetch the poor dying things back to me and drop them at my feet.
Horrible disease though.

Some farmers actively encourage mixy.
Ask a friendly farmer nicely and he might just tell you about how some people are very big fans of this disease and exactly what measures are needed to ensure that mixy never actually dies in their area.

A rabbit goes into a pub and says to the barman, "what food have you got"? Barman says, "panini only, mate. I can do you a cheese and tomato, a cheese, ham and pineapple, or a beef and brie, all toasted". Rabbit says "sounds good, but can I have a ham, brie and pineapple?". Barman says, "no, sorry, not allowed - they're all prewrapped and I'm not supposed to prepare food behind the bar - health and safety". Rabbit says, "OK, I'll just have a ham and cheese panini".
Next day, same thing happens. Rabbit asks what there is, wants a ham, brie and pineapple panini, barman refuses again cause it's not clean, gives him a ham and cheese panini instead.
Third day, rabbit comes in, asks what there is, wants a ham, brie and pineapple panini, and the barman says "fine, you keep bothering me about this bloody sandwich, I'll give it to you", so he rips open the packages and starts putting ingredients from one into the other, makes the panini and gives it to the rabbit.
Unfortunately, the barman hadn't washed his hands properly, so the rabbit got horrible food poisoning and dies. Rabbit ascends to Heaven, approaches the Pearly Gates, and St Peter says to him, "what killed you?". Rabbit says...
