Thought I would share a photo of my new bike. I was a bit worried that I would be a victim of hype and this would be too “Enduro” for me, but no, I have been very impressed. The descending was everything I hoped it would be, the BOS Kirk shock is very impressive, but even the climbing is good, the geometry just seems to put you in the right place all the time.

    Main components:
Orbea Rallon with Bos Kirk Shock
    Pike Fork
Light Bicycle Rims on DT Swiss 240 hubs
    XX1 Cranks and Cassette
    Raceface 28T direct mount chainring
XTR M9000 shifter, derailleur and brakes
    Reverb stealth seatpost
    Weight 29 lbs.

Not bright enough, but the view from your house isn’t bad, so that makes up for it…

I have one of those, its pretty good. Mine is same frame\shock\fork combo, but alu rims, shimano 1x 10 gearing, weighs in at almost 30lb dead.

Where was the photo taken? Is that shutlingsloe in the background?

It was taken near Aberdeen, on the top of Cairn William with Bennachie in the background.

I love these things. Cool company, too.
