    Looks better with the deep sections. Love the colours on these.

    The bike was great, I can’t say I noticed it’s weight and anyway it’s me that needs to shed it.
    The up side was comfort and great handling which left me able to just get on.

    Looking forward to a flatter race and one where I can try out the Lightweights.

    Only the first two places were counted, but I was more than happy with my finish.

    Any more rides out on the Genesis, OG?

    I sold my carbon road frame about a month ago, and riding on alloy frames – whilst they’re decent ones – is getting a bit tedious. They just rattle over all the bumps. Doesn’t matter so much in a race, but every little ripple in the surface seems to be amplified. Carbon seemed to mute this.

    Its not a complaint about the comfort, just the general rattly loud nature of my alloy frames.

    How does the Volare fair, so far as rough road surfaces?
