Frame – Tomac Flint (apparantly one of the first to be built up)
Wheels – DT Swiss TK7.1 on DMR hubs with silver DT Swiss Competition spokes
Forks – Nukeproof 445mm rather than the more usual 465mm for 29er in order to keep the steering on the lively side through the woods
Brakes – Tektro Auriga, cheap and do the job
Cranks – Shimano M442, as above
Bars and stem – ex samples from a departing rep, not particularly special but look nice
Seat – OE from my Merida road bike and much more comfortable with a more upright riding position
Being fully rigid it's more of a winter/snotty conditions bike but first impressions are that it fulfils the objective of being pretty handy for weaving between the trees. For the fellow bike geeks out there the wheelbase is 107cm which is 3cm shorter than a 18 inch inbred and 2cm longer than my 16 inch Surly.
Definately very nice – I looked at getting one of these for a while, but delays on CRC getting them in stock gave me time to realise that buying a scandal would give me a similar frame for less ££.
