    its like the old style tandems were the lady was allowed on the front, but not allowed to steer.

    there’s that nice German I think semi-recumbant where the rear rider has a view and the front rider doesn’t get a sore neck. Oh and it’s cool looking

    There’s also a mad recumbent where the stoker faces backwards – looking at the cars coming up behind you. Scary.

    steering looks rather terrifying and also impossible with a child on the front seat!

    but it’s quite cool really. also you get a nice soft crumple zone for front impacts.
