It is a bright colour and stands out too much now since I washed it before the nice weather. How do I dirty it up. Riding isn't doing this at the moment. Thinking of a coffee / water mixture sprayed with my hand sprayer. Just hope that the coffee does not stain the paintwork. Don't want to use mud.Alternatively what's the best inner tube method? All over or just logo's etc.

    Tis a genuine post!

You can wash commuter bikes? Sorry, you lost me there…

I'm sorry, you want it dirty but not with mud? What with?! 😮

it's left exposed to the public in variuos places. never used to clean it. Got some unwanted 'attention' recently, and it does look shiney and bright. Tis only a cheap rigid mtb but still looks nice. I'll try some mud then. Lives inside so mud not ideal. Think i'll protect it with silicon spray and then dirty it up, although rain will probably take the dirt straight off.
