You need to download a torrent client such as Azureus/Vuze and then you can download from torrent sites.

A good starting place is torrentz.com because it lists searches from lots of other sites. There are often more specific sites like punktorrents or demonoid that have more specific albums you cant find elsewhere.

I use emusic to buy my tunes. Really good subscription service, all the files are non-DRM (i.e. not copyright protected) so you can do what you want with them. Only drawback is that it doesn’t have that much chart music if you’re into that stuff…..
