So, me and a few mates are thinking about getting some mtb coaching from somewhere. We feel we have kind of reached what we are able to do on our own. ie. small doubles, tabletops, couple of semi decent drops(ones at FOD anyway).

Looking to be much more confident in the air and stuff.

Were based in South Wales, so anywhere local would be good. But travelling a few hours and making a weekend of it is also an option.

Though Tom Dowie ‘Jumps and Drops’ certainly looks cheaper. Only thing is it’s a slightly longer drive from Manchester!

The price comparison I made was slighly erroneous, as Great Rock is two days, and Tom Dowie is 2 hours.

Don’t suppose you know when Nigel is planning another course (the one in Feb is fully booked)?

No prob’s. I’m afraid I don’t know when he’s doing another course. Ed will be able to tell you, ed@great-rock.co.uk.

It’s a great 2 dayer. I felt like I learned a lot and most other people had more visible improvement than me. Nigel is brilliant, a real gentleman and what he does on a bike isn’t right.

I’ve done the Nigel page one, it was a good weekend and they are nice folks. I’m not sure how it compares to others as its the only one I have done.
