A friend and I are looking to put together a 1 week trip in greenland this coming spring/summer. There are existing organised expeditions, but you are talking upwards of £3000 to do them or they are tailored heavily towards hiking/non-mtbing!
The idea would be to take our own fatbikes out on the plane, hire kayaks, kayak across the fjords in Tasiusaq then ride up to and around the glaciers over the course of a week.
Cost is likely to be around £1500 inc flights to greenland – which I appreciate is expensive for a biking holiday, but it would be a one-off. Previously done trips to Iceland, and i know there are similar in Svalbard…but greenland is much harder to get to/organise food/accomodation etc. Just looking to see if there would be anyone interested, would need around 4-5 other “riders” to make it viable.
