Hi for some reason during the snow I have had a light impact to the front end and the two front fog lamp glass fronts are cracked.
they both work but glass cracked.
will this prevent the car from passing a MOT?

I’ve passed before on a cracked headlight, don’t know how relevant it is to your fogs but the guy said it was OK as long as it didn’t affect the beam.

He also advised to get it changed as soon as possible to stop water getting in.

If they are present they should be correct. Cracked lights will fail (if they are checked) but remove them completely and your golden.

Front fogs aren’t part of the MOT & won’t be tested/checked

Cracked lights only fail if it’s filling up with water, or if it’s affecting the effectivness of the light.

As mentioned above front fog lights aren’t a legal requirement on cars.

A cracked lens is not a reason for failure. Only if it’s allowing white light to show for red/amber lamps, or it’s affecting beam pattern/brightness is it a reason for failure.
Plus front fog lights are not a testable item.
