My BIL is Chief Exec of a big hospital in the south. He is, unusually, respected and liked by all the staff from nurses right up through Admin to Consultants because he’s an all-round good bloke and very good at his job and he started out as a nurse in the NHS and got there by hard work.

When I ask him about his job he laments that instead of being allowed to get on with delivering good health care to patients, he wastes a considerable amount of his time dealing with complaints against the hospital.

I would put it down to experience if I was you and thank God that all the care I’ve had was free at the point of delivery.

How will money help your ankle?

An equivalent question should be asked in every case. I find the thought of suing a sickening one and a productof some of the worst aspects of society.
