  • Month off in March / April 2011 what would you do?

    I may be in the lucky position of having the chance to take a month off in March or April next year.
    I’m thinking about doing something bike-related for the month.
    It could be UK or Europe mtb or touring, just riding and seeing stuff.

    Ideas so far include a tour of France, the Pyrenees / Alps, Italy or Spain.

    Or a tour of the UK?

    Ideas please.

    UK weather not the best then. Alps full of snow.

    April is often a great time to be out and about in the UK. However, you are likely to get more settled weather in Italy or Spain. I’d be planning a decent-sized tour.

    Fly somewhere a month’s ride away. Ride home. Italy would be my choice. Then over the alps.
