    UPDATE:

    I spoke to TF, rode the forks for my holiday, and sent them off last monday for them to have a look at.

    Spoke to Tim this morning, and they are already on the way back to me with a brand new (warrantied) stanchion/steerer assembly :-).

    Absolutely fantastic service from TF, especially since I didn’t buy the fork from them to begin with.
