The first video is one of those
‘great songs/great location/good riding’
ones that leave you thinking ‘Right then, where’s my bike? I’m going out now!’.
Then I saw the end and read the back story and do you know what? I still want to get out on my bike.
Someone I’ve never met or have even heard of rode a bike well, in an interesting place and I’m sat in Hove on a dreary Wednesday with a lump in my throat lost between ‘It’s not fair, we all deserve a happy ending’ and ‘He lived the life he chose and accepted the risks’ and thinking, actually, life is the moments you live and a long life isn’t the only tmeasure of a happy one.
