Here’s my blog sans pics for now.

I’m enjoying breakfast in a 50s diner in rural Washington with a bunch of farmers who are rolling dice to see who picks up the tab.

Miles it poured overnight. This morning I shared the road with a guy that set out on a ride four years ago. 40000 miles later he’s still pedaling. It wasn’t Forest Gump on a bike.

I just rolled into Bay City, Oregon. You could say I was a Bay City Roller.

I’m about thirty miles from the California state line. The last sixty miles of the Oregon Coast have been breathtaking. If anyone is considering a multi day tour this route has it all!

After a few days suffering with a hellish cold I reached Crater Lake. My afternoon ride looks spectacular. 8)

Today’s ride was about as hardcore as I’d ever want to ride again. Gavia Pass riders in the ’88 Giro, you are GODS!
