    I had a 29er 2.4 Ardent that wouldn’t fit my 29er Reba-no idea for the 26″ advantage,sorry

    2.4 Advantages are absolutely massive.

Why are you running them with a Reba anyway?!

No. Got a 2.25 in my 2010 SLs that leaves very little room.

I have 2.4 ardents on my 29er Reba, fits, but not a lot of room spare. have them on Halo freedom rims which are pretty wide, that might make a difference?

Same as francisobegbie – Put my existing Advantage 2.25 in a new Reba SL maxle last night and it is very very tight. Will give it a run ouot in some mud, but thinking a smaller tyre is needed.

So, in summary, no, very much doubt 2.4 advantage [ballon tyres] will work with Reba’s.

I’ve got some 2.5 Hi Rollers & Minions you can try if you want Rich.

I’m probably gonna go with 2.25s but was just wondering how big you could go. Looking at the 2.1 that’s in there, I’m not sure I’ll actually get away with anything bigger.

Here you go – not the best pic, but you can see how tight the 2.25 Advantages are in my Reba forks. There is at most 5mm clearance there and the tyres are a bit worn..

Are 2.35 HR’s and Minions much lower profile? Thinking of switching to some…

Yikes! That does look tight. Think I’ll stick with the 2.1s
