You'll look back at photos in a few years and think "WTF was I thinking?"

So just leave them on the shelf FFS.

Jeez, I wore them first time round. And hot pants.

Had a good set of pins then.

*sighs wistfully* ...

Actually last year my daughter wore one. She has an hourglass figure and it showed it off perfectly.

Of course I'm jealous. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

TSY - she's a handful, worse than me and you know what I'm like. ๐Ÿ˜€

Actually, she doesn't 'get' exercise. "I don't need to" she says ... and she's right. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Edit: she's too young for you!

I like to be kept on my toes ๐Ÿ˜‰

Could be just the thing I need... as long as she co-incides with my rest days?

Edit: Whoah whoah whaoh... how old do you think I am?!

TSY - will Sammie-Louise be resident on here for two weeks whilst you're riding [s]slacking[/s] ? Have you organised for [s]roadie[/s] Jamie and molgrips to put in overtime on here? I and many others need to be entertained. ๐Ÿ˜€

Cougar - keep up!

she's a handful

At the risk of a virtual slap, you know what they say, more than a handful's wasted....

Having just had a google at maxi dresses - imho - not as bad as saggy ugg boots or what you see in the top shop window, or half the stuff in new look (my girlfriend often heads for the door quickly when I point out how ugly most of the clothing is in there quite loudly)

bigyinn.. I'm willing to put myself on the line to test the truth of that saying.

C_G I honestly don't know what's going to happen. The longest I've been without posting in the last 9 months is probably 4 days. I assume some young gun will step into the breach and then I'll be able to come back and lurk with the occasional trivial comment.

I think there's quite a bit of stuff about now that people will regret in a few years. Specifically jumpsuits and those MC hammer pants. Maxi dresses by comparison are fine.

I only know what a maxi dress is cos my mrs got a few whilst pregnant.

my gf has a few maxi dresses, i think they are pretty nice. They tend to verge on the cleavage display side as the legs are hidden ๐Ÿ™‚

You youngsters don't know what you're missing.
The great advantage of maxi dresses was that a young lady could "sit" upon her boyfriend in a park or picnic-spot in full view of passers-by, while appearing to be perfectly innocent.
Happy days.

moses has a good point, the benefits of a maxi dress is that providing you lean forward slightly to hide the tent-effect they're great at hiding public erections.

I'm not allowed anywhere near play grounds or schools in a maxi dress ๐Ÿ™

I don't advise trying to smuggle frozen turkeys out of lidl as if you're a pregnant lady in them either. Frost biten chapstick is not a good look.

Moses ๐Ÿ˜†

Exhibitionism is the new black. I had an ex into public places, should have got her a maxi dress... shame they weren't "in" 10 years ago.

Heights an issue too at 5'2" I look like a toilet roll holder in a maxi dress.... I guess I could stand on a box at a party without anyone knowing but I'd be buggered when they announced the buffet was open... *shows how northern she is*

Em may be we can go to one of these new fangled TSY silver platter buffets and stand on boxes at the side of each other we'd look less weird then?

It would make me feel less weird, that's for sure - I hate hovering above all the other girls in the room!!!

Most women would use a 26" box to stand on, but the niche ladies would rock the 29er ๐Ÿ˜‰
