Does anyone know what the maximum tyre width is please?

I have a tweaked team issue version on the NRS and run Fire XC Pro 2.1s. Seem a very good tyre all round and the shape’s lovely.

No real need for much bigger on a light(ish) rim, I would imagine.

Is this not the old name for the 819?

I’ve run 2.5 contis on my X3.1’s OK.

Well, I’ve got X3.1’s on two bikes, my SS, which has Bonty CXR 2.2/2.25’s on and my Inbred 567, which has had 2.5″ Diesels on in the past, and is currently wearing a pair of Bonty ACX 2.35’s, all tubeless, with no issues at all. The rims may get replaced with Rhythm’s or Dusters, but they’re fine at the mo’, and have been for the last six years since they were built.

you’d be pretty hard pushed to find any rim that couldn’t take a 2.2 tyre
seen plenty 819s with 2.5 maxxis DH tyres

I’ve ran a 2.7 before without any problems.
