    Have a problem with my Maverick DUC 32's. During a ride they gradually get lower and lower. Air pressure remains constant – so the main cartridge is not leaking. I have stripped them down and without the air chamber in the left leg assembled they move with full travel. I have to compress them to be able to screw the shrader valve into the top of the air cartridge and then I cannot extend them afterwards, even when I pump them upto 150psi.. What am I doing wrong? The manual doesn't give any clues! Also where should I get them serviced? I live near Bristol…

    you can self service or contact sideways cycles on the tinterweb as they specialise in maverick rebuilds and services.

    Ok.. any advice on what I might be doing wrong with them? Would be nice to be able to commute to work on them for another few days… I reminds me of the fox shocks getting stuck down, sort of similar…

    But that's on the right leg isn't it? I'm having problems with the left leg (looking forwards).

    The left leg is only coming up 100mm when I attach the shrader valve. When I remove the valve I get the full 150mm of travel.

    Its really annoying. I've even removed the valve core but this doesn't help either.

    I think there must be something wrong with the air cartridge. I'm going to take it apart now and get oil everywhere again.

    This time I'm going to be clever and remove the front brakes 1st though 🙂

    Sorry I just re read your post

    Sounds like the main piston seal is passing air to the negative spring chamber creating a lock down effect like I had on my old Fox Shox
