What would you choose and why?

After two days of repairing and sanding the walls, they’re now pretty damned perfect, so should be able to accept either.

Vinyl soft sheen, best of both worlds.
    Wipe-able but not too shiny.
    My 10p worth. 🙂

I prefer the appearance of matt, but vinyl is easier to wipe clean. I always use matt though, I like the chalky colours.

Dulux endurance or similar – hard wearing and wipeable but still a matte finish.

Thanks for this thread. This is exactly my dillema. Always gone for Matt as i like the finish and you can quickly paint over scrapes/marks and it blends in. Conversely it seems to mark very easy.
