Bought a pair of the above forks off here (recently serviced 🙄 ) and when I got them noticed that the travel was a little shorter than the supposed 120 – 160. These are more like 80 – 120! I've serviced them myself (properly this time 8) ) and still the travel is adjustable between 80 and 120. It there something I'm missing here?

Checked the user manual but cant see anything there. Thanks.

Well it may be because the negative spring is licking in the positive one.
    How did you serviced them?
    Cheers

Juan, could you expand on that please?

Service was just a basic strip, oils and seals.

I had the same problem with mine. Talk to the guy at windwave during a MM. Basically he told me that the doppio cartridge wasn't properly sealed. They are apparently very difficult to service (or you need at least some very specific tools) but if you know what you are doing, it's a matter of taking apart a cartridge, re-greasing it and rebuilding it.

Thanks very much Juan. I've just emailed Dan at Windwave so I'll see what he comes back with.

Pretty straightforwards thanks, obviously apart from the little gem I've got now…
