I’m looking for a cheap and reliable heating engineer to strip out my old boiler, fit a new combi and 2/3 radiators. It’s not a completely straight forward job as a long flu needs to be installed.

British Gas quoted me an eye watering figure, so I was hoping someone on here might have a recomendation?

You did a great job on the double glazing fitter (I am basically refurbing my house via STW!) so I have high expectations!

Don’t touch BG, they’ve just condemned and disconnected my 9 month old boiler because an electrical grommet was missing from the outer casing, had it reviewed by an independant engineer who couldn’t believe what they’d done. Bunch of utter chancers. They also replaced a radiator for me a couple of years ago, it fell off the wall that evening, rawl plugs in plaster board isn’t a really appropriate.
