Hans Dampfs are a good tyre for trail centres without sharp rock… anything else and there are much better choices available!

    such as?

something with the rounded profile of the dampf (as opposed to something more square like a trail king.

and with as much mechanical grip (deep tread)

although i’m currently running a muddy mary/hans dampf combo, my backup is a spesh butcher/conti baron.
but my all time favourite combination is the panaracer fire fr 2.4 up front and at the back. the kevlar bead makes them quite light, the tread compound is firm enough for them to be very grippy but they still roll well with little drag. they have a nice round profile too
