    Just as a wild card, what are your thoughts of a solaris or ff29 in stead of a full sus?

    Yeah I’ve got a FF29.

    It’s an awesome bike, proper hoot and fast to boot. Climbs like nothing else I’ve ridden and ain’t too shoddy on the downs. I’m faster on it on several black descents @ Llandegla than I am on my 130mm FS!!

    Highly recommend , saying that I’m considering an Anthem X1 29’er to replace the 130mm FS though 😉 got fitted up on one today at a not so local but very good welsh bike shop
