    I believe theres one that documents the early days of the tour with riders catching trains and getting lifts in cars! Can anyone advise of the title and author?

    This one‘s pretty good, I enjoyed it anyway. I just read the Kindle one so I don’t know what the dead-tree format edition is like.

    I liked race for madmen. By Chris did wells. Chronological so it helped ‘frame’ things
