Not really. Might want to go somewhere higher with less braying English, though (so not Meribel or Val d’Isere then) 😛

it was warmer last season, for longer, and we still (just about!) got to the end of the season. i reckon they’ll open lifts after the official end this year 8)

anyways, couple of inches of snow over the past couple of days, the pistes were in better condition today than they have been for 4 weeks, i reckon. even got a few genuine powder runs in!

Never happens. Once the lifties and pisteurs contracts end, thats it. Its called good old French employment flexibility 😆

impossible to say for 2 weeks time… unless something incredibly odd happens with the weather, the pistes will still be around in 2 weeks time. off piste might not be so feasible.

northern alps have had a lot better snow than southern, aparently. mate manages chalets in 4 resorts – he reckons morzine has the most snow out of all of them (morzine, les coches, reberty and saas fee)
