Interesting if not very balanced program about the underground and safety.

    not very balanced program

    That is all.

I watched about five minutes of it. Propoganda, not documentary.

Intrigued to know who commissioned it? Really not a discussion of issues but an extended whinge.

Who? The presenter or captain flashheart?

In which way was the programme biased?

Well it’s obviously not flashheart, who as everyone knows is a blood red socialist. And only ever speaks with immense authority and knowledge – across a wide range of subjects, including London Underground. Only three days ago he was sharing his in depth and extensive knowledge with us, as he explained that tube drivers “Sat on their arses as per”.

It’s got to be the presenter I reckon.

Watch it on 4OD and then comment. Was a very 1 sided presentation full of actors voicing anecdotes from tube workers. Some came across as valid points eg re safety with regard to monitoring door closing at stations whereas just as much weight appeared to be given to somebody complaining that she had to stand for an eight hour shift.

There appeared to be little balance. Perhaps that was because the Tube service did not want to appear but it meant the program seemed to provide little information.

I was interested to know why the Tube service is so militant and why they strike so often. This program didn’t give you much to go on.
