Apologies for the long winded post.
Over the last few weeks i've gone from trying to motivate myself for the occasional ride on my own to riding on a couple of STW rides and have found them really enjoyable. These rides have meant travelling a fair distance and although I don't mind this it would be nice to sometimes ride with people a little closer to home.
I live in Andover and was wondering if any of you lovely people would mind showing me any of the local trails, either in Andover or the surrounding towns/ cities, i.e Winchester, Salisbury, Basingingstoke etc.
I certainley don't mind travelling 20 miles or so to experience hidden single tracks/ trails with locals. I'm off to Cheesefoot Head tomorrow to try the ride on the Hampshire web site and although the views are likely to be stunning I guess the ride won't be too challenging (i guess thats were local knowledge comes in)
Fitness wise, i'm reasonably fit and can manage 20 to 30 miles no problem and my hill climbing is getting better by the week.
It would be great to hear from anyone willing to show me around.
