I’ve a powermonkey solar chimp thing – It’s busted and not holding a charge.
I’ve emailed PM, and am awaiting a response..

I’m out on the bike for 3-4 days at the end of the month, and really want something to keep my phone and gps charged (I gotta get that high score on snake…).

I’d love a dynamo hub, but the bank balance says no for now…

It seems all the little li-ion chargers you get only really hold one charge. Pft..
Are AA type ones much hat? It seems it takes 3 AAs to partially charge a standard device, which is pretty wasteful.

Ideally the solar monkey will magically start working again, as there’s something ‘cool’ about recharging your device in the day, to drain it at night… But this is unlikely.

So,I suppose if this was posed as a question:
“What little battery charger would the STW collective suggest?”
