    So, I have 1 x broken DX charger, and 1 x OK charger with the wrong connector (same voltage etc).

    Can I just snip the wires, rejoin connector A with charger B and hey presto my light works again?

    I can’t see why the answer wouldnt be yes?

    Same voltage and current ratings? Should be OK I reckon.

    or make yourself a short cable with the relevant plug on one end and socket on the other, then you can always use the charger for its original purpose again.
