Last night my L&M Arc failed (LED indicator Lit but NO main light). Gutted.

A called to Madison this morning confirmed that they would not consider repairing the light but would offer a ‘cheap’ (£260!!!!) Seca 700 head unit if I could prove original onership with a proof of purchase (from a light I bought about 6 years ago!). This seems a lot of money (assuming I can actually find the receipt!)

Anyone else been is a similar situation and been able to find somewhere to repair the Arc light unit.

I have found some stuff on the internet regarding repairs and potential suppliers of ‘Ballasts’ and Bulbs but being no electronics genius this means little to me, but the prices quoted for the spares were buttons compared to a Seca unit. If there were some clear guidance somewhere and someone has done a repair successfully in the past then I may attempt a repair.

Any knowledge or suppliers and/or how to repair woudl be appreciated
