    any suggestions for relatively light and strong stem and bars

    but not carbon

    currently im running a Titec Bloc Head stem and RF DH Bars…

    budget?

    I’m currently using:
    Easton EA90 stem; strong, light (100g for a 90mm), not cheap
    Easton DH Carbon bars; strong, light (220g for 711mm), not cheap

    Seem a good mix of light and strong.

    pro frs stem, 128g for the 50mm. £30
    get the black one cos it’s cheaper and has a much finish than the white although it doesn’t get the same stainless bolts so a couple of quid upgrading them and all is well.

    also using truvativ holzfeller world cup bars. 700mm wide and 260g. I like them a lot.
