    OK, so the missus showed us a picture of her sisters newly painted living room, its green, the same green as those lime sherbert sweets. Yet she had to take a picture of it, on a pretty rubbish camera phone, rather than just describe it which would have painted a much better picture.

    Same with days out, everything is photograped.

    Got to a gig, watch it through a 2" screen.

    etc etc……

    I'm the opposite, my camera phone has about enough memory for 100 photos, I've only just filled it up! I've had it since my 3rd year at uni!

    Has the cheep availability of photogaphy, at point of use anyway, no one can say that a £300 phone is better value than a £10 camera, but the camera costs ~£5 to get 36 pics out of it, runined peoples ability to enjoy 'the moment' for what it is and create memories rather than taking a picture that will probably be looked at once or twice and forgotten?
