Had a few final jobs to do today before Christmas. Nipped out to local shops to avoid the heaving masses of panic buying but nearly came a cropper twice on the way home.

Driving along through the village at 30 had to stop dead to avoid a head on with the lady in the large white SUV who just had to follow the other cars past the cyclists without looking.

Still shaking my head at her stupidity I carried on and turned left off the main road. Some other cyclists had just turned right across the road in front of me and more were following. Is uphill and on a blind corner so I sat behind 4 guys pootling up the hill before cresting the hill. Just about to pull out and overtake when 1 of the other cyclists appears alongside me overtaking! Must have really wanted that overtook a car badge to sew onto his kit. Spotted him just before I indicated so had time to not knock him off then overtake all of them as soon as he had finished.
